The Housing Specialist oversees specific refugee housing placements and issues in compliance with the Reception and Placement Cooperative Agreement and the Refugee Assistance Post-Resettlement programs. The Housing Specialist locates and secures initial housing for newly arrived refugees, responds to housing issues of resettled refugees, including liaising with landlords and finding new homes, and acts as a liaison between program and outside agencies and persons relevant to the specific programs.
The Foster Care Therapist provides clinical services in the areas of individual and family therapy as well as assists, when needed, with case management service. The Therapist works cooperatively with foster / biological /extended / adoptive families, referral agencies, school personnel, and other professional personnel involved in the treatment of the foster child and is responsible for making placement recommendations to the appropriate parties involved in the case.
Provides to the children in the Residential Treatment Program direct care support and counseling based on asset building treatment plans developed by the therapist and treatment team.
Maintain a positive work environment through accurate providing support to case managers by assisting with transportation, case coverage, completing home visits, completing paperwork and/or entering data into MiSACWIS and Apricot.
The therapist will provide clinical service and needed related services for clients who are eligible for and requesting mental health and/or substance abuse services from Counseling Services.
Provides the children in the Residential Treatment Programs direct care support and counseling based on the asset building treatment plans developed by the therapist and treatment team
Provide direct support to clients as directed, deemed or appropriate at the request and/or direction of supervisory staff. Direct support includes interpretation and translation of documents and transportation services relating to clients, program and agency.
As a member of the Development Team, the Development and Outreach Officer has primary responsibility for building and sustaining private support for STVCC. The Development and Outreach Officer handles donor relations management, institutional and individual giving (with special focus on gifts in the $1-5k level).
