Provides the children in the Residential Treatment Programs direct care support and counseling based on the asset building treatment plans developed by the therapist and treatment team.
The Counseling Services Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision and oversight to St. Vincent Catholic Charities Counseling Services, this role implements clinical protocol consistent with current research on clinical practice, assures compliance with all regulatory/contract standards and rules as they relate to clinical treatment, and collaborates with the team on a regular basis to ensure coordination of clinical and administrative functions.
The mental health/substance abuse therapist will provide clinical service and needed related services for clients who are eligible for and requesting mental health or substance abuse service from the clinic. The mental health/substance abuse therapist participates responsibly in the day-to-day operations of the clinic and agency.
In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (child/youth, family, DHHS case workers, adoption workers, guardian ad litem, residential supervisors, youth advocates, therapist, nursing coordinator, teachers, and psychiatrist) the Case Manager will generate and implement a strength-based, Initial Service Plan (ISP) that will function as the framework guiding treatment processes while the child/family participates in residential services.
