Food Service Worker – Sub / On Call

Under direction of the Food Service Supervisor, the food service workers are responsible for high quality, nutritious meal preparation, and general operations of a commercial kitchen.  This position assist with all aspects of the Food Service Department, including heavy duty cleaning, loading and unloading trucks and helping maintain the Health Department Standards for this residential facility

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:  General kitchen labor.  Some cooking/prep experience preferred but not required.

Registration, licenses, certifications or special training:  None

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

With or without accommodations, this employee will work responsibly alone or as part of the food service team to provide meals to clients.   Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds throughout the work day.  Must be able to stand, sit, bend and squat for various lengths of time during the work day.

STARTING WAGE:  $10.25/hr
