Bestselling Author Adriana Trigiani’s Appearance to Benefit STVCC

Bestselling author and film maker Adriana Trigiani will be making an appearance to discuss her new book “Kiss Carlo” from 7 – 9 p.m, on Wednesday, June 28 at the Kellogg Center, 219 Harrison Road, East Lansing, MI 48823. All proceeds of the event will go to St. Vincent Catholic Charities (STVCC).

“The STVCC Children’s Home Book Club kids love Adriana’s novels,” event organizer Catherine Brennan said. “Being able to help out local kids in need inspired me to facilitate her appearance and this fundraiser.”

An exclusive Patron Party will begin at 5:30 p.m. and includes an exclusive reception with Adriana, a gift bag, hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar, and access to the presentation. Patron Party tickets are $100.

“We are astonished by the generosity of Catherine and the other volunteers who have helped to put this event together,” STVCC CEO Andrea Seyka said. “Adriana’s accomplishments and willingness to give back to non-profit organizations sets a great example of philanthropy to our community.”

Adriana’s other popular works include “All the Stars in the Heavens,” “The Shoemaker’s Wife,” the “Big Stone Gap” series, the “Valentine Trilogy” and “Lucia, Lucia.” She also wrote and directed the film adaptation of “Big Stone Gap.”
