Children’s Home Goes Camping
In July children and staff from one of our Children’s Home units took the long trek to the Upper Peninsula for their annual summer camping trip.
In the short amount of time the children enjoyed:
- Campfires, s’mores, and fun and relaxation at Tahquamenon Falls State Park Rivermouth Campgrounds
- The mysterious powers at the Mystery Spot
- Black Bears at Oswald’s Bear Ranch
The children, in all their ingenuity, even took it upon themselves to construct their own homemade fishing poles out of sticks in an attempt to fish in the river. Ultimately, just looking at the pictures is enough to sense the amount of joy felt by kids and staff alike!
