Spring Into Giving 2015

The St. Vincent Catholic Charities’ annual Spring Into Giving household needs drive begins April 1st and continues through the end of the month. These donations from generous supporters will help children and families in need. The largest number of families needing household gifts come from our Refugee Resettlement program. The most common needs include pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, bowls and cutlery, sheets (twins and doubles preferred) and towels, cleaning supplies and tools. These can be gently used, or we will accept gift cards from local stores where these items may be purchased.
Spring Into Giving Donation Sites
Twelve locations at Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) around the local community will be convenient drop off sites. Alternately, donors may wish to come directly to St. Vincent Catholic Charities Service Center at 2800 W. Willow St., in Lansing between 9am – 7pm on April 23-24.
Volunteers Needed
The Spring Into Giving campaign is a perfect volunteer activity. Businesses, families, and friends and neighbors will often organize their own collection activities. Additionally on April 23rd and 24th volunteers will be needed to receive, sort and organize all of the donated items. We welcome families with children who wish to participate.
