Give Hope This Christmas

“If you have love to give, give it!”

To Kristina Sheerin, those are more than eight powerful
words …

They were her call to action when Elijah, a curly-haired,
rambunctious little boy with a beautiful smile, entered her family’s
life. The Sheerins felt called to provide foster care for this bundle of boundless energy, the son of a young single mother, and aftera year, they made him a permanent part of their forever family. This adoption was made possible, thanks in part to the generous support of STVCC’s programs like adoption and foster care by caring people like you.

Elijah will be 2 at Christmastime. He’s surrounded by three teenage siblings who love everything about their baby brother – with the possible exception of changing his diapers. This little guy is happy! He laughs, dances, sings, plays, and learns.

“It’s awesome,” Kristina says, beaming. “He brings so much joy and energy to our lives.”

Loving hearts. Loving homes. Loving families. Last year, we helped over 400 children find a temporary foster home or “forever home.” That’s what St. Vincent Catholic
Charities is all about.

Thanksgiving is around the corner. Christmas is less than two months away. From now until the end of the year, the demand for our services skyrockets.

Our goal is to make sure we extend a helping hand and a loving heart to every person who needs us, and it’s you who makes that possible. So thank you for all the help you have given to us in the past. With a spirit for serving others, you have touched the lives of so many people whom you may never meet but who appreciate you more than you will ever know.
