Merry Christmas from the Immigration Law Clinic Family

From the Immigration Law Clinic family to yours, a very merry and blessed Christmas season!

Immigration Law Clinic FamilyAs much as we love “Jingle Bells,” Santa Claus and presents under the tree, Christmas is also a time for family. Strengthening family bonds, creating cherished memories and traditions, and spreading joy and hope to those around us.  A substantial portion of our work involves efforts to reunite individuals living in Michigan with loved ones overseas. During this Christmas season, we are poignantly reminded of the loneliness, the struggles, and the deep love experienced by the families we serve, whether they are together this holiday season or thousands of miles apart.

The Immigration Law Clinic family is proud to serve all who need us, regardless of faith or creed.  As part of St. Vincent Catholic Charities, our work is deeply rooted in our Catholic social teachings and traditions.  As we celebrate Christ’s birth this Christmas, we prayerfully consider the circumstance of the Nativity: Mary and Joseph as vulnerable travelers far from home; the Lord Jesus, spending his first moments in a stranger’s manger; the Holy Family as refugees, fleeing to Egypt to protect their son’s life.

We are humbled to see their faces and circumstances reflected in those of the clients that we are honored daily to serve, and we hope that you will consider including ILC in your year-end charitable giving plans.  Learn more about supporting our work at https://stvcc.org/donating/ways-to-give/.
