STVCC CEO Letter Winter 2014

Dear Friends,

This is such an amazing time of year.  Christmas trees and lights go up, and all around us are the sweet sounds of holiday cheer.  It is Photo of CEO Andrea Seyka of STVCCtruly a season about giving, and at St. Vincent Catholic Charities we are so thankful for the many volunteers and donors who help us care for the thousands of children and families we serve each year. This newsletter is dedicated to you.

Mother Teresa once said, “It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”  Our gifts are often doubled by the steady stream of love that accompanies them.  That love is so important to those we serve, many of whom lack a strong network of family and friends to turn to in times of crisis.  Through the gifts we receive from our community, St. Vincent Catholic Charities is able to step in, and offer these individuals the support and love they need to overcome their challenges and be successful.

I’ve often found that many attribute giving with the idea of making a monetary contribution.  But the reality is, there are as many ways to back as there are reasons.  Whether you choose to become a volunteer, intern, donor, or community ambassador for STVCC, rest assured that your contribution is helping to ensure a brighter future for our community, for our families and for our children.  What a blessing it is to give love this holiday season.  Thank you for partnering with us to restore hope and change lives.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas,

Andrea E. Seyka

CEO
