As we approach a year of serving the most vulnerable in our community while operating during a global health pandemic, I am struck by the love of generous donors like you, which helps make our work possible.

Your love and care for immigrants, refugees, vulnerable children, and those in need of mental health counseling kept us going during these challenging times. However, the need for our services continues, as does the need for your support.

That is why I am asking you to please make a generous gift during the month when we celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Our expression of faith, hope, and love is critical to helping children heal from abuse and neglect in our Children’s Home. We have continued to operate 24/7 despite the restrictions and challenges of COVID-19. Your gift will support our work as we serve those most in need with dignity and compassion.

Your generosity benefits so many, like one client who is being served by our Immigration Law Clinic and is applying for a green card so he can pursue safety and security in the Lansing area. He recently emailed his attorney to say, “I do not know in what language to express myself to say thank you. May God protect you and bless all your family. I will never forget you.” He can access expert legal services on a sliding fee scale because of faithful donors like you.

The past year has taught me not to take anything for granted. I am grateful for the community’s generous support of STVCC’s mission and its love of those we serve. Your support is needed and appreciated more than ever. As we enter this new year with hope for better days ahead, I pray you consider a generous gift during our special Valentine’s Day Appeal.

With a grateful heart,

Andrea E. Seyka
