The Opportunity Of A Lifetime For a Child In Foster Care
In March 2008 St. Vincent Catholic Charities was offered the opportunity to fly to Washington DC to witness the first visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the USA with President Bush at the White House. A six year old child, living in foster care, who is awaiting adoption, was extended the invitation. The visit was a remarkable, once in a life time experience for the young man. St. Vincent Catholic Charities would like to say a special thank you to the Caring About Kids Fund with Ingham County DHS for granting $385.39 which helped with the purchase a plane ticket, hotel stay, meals and a new suit for Christopher. Thank you
Caring About Kids Fund for helping make a wish come true.  To read the full story of the trip CLICK HERE.
