The Community Engagement intern is a volunteer position that gives an opportunity to develop real world skills and contacts. The Community Engagement intern will provide support to the development team in the planning and execution of programs and events designed to increase community awareness and will be responsible for generating social media content, including photos, videos and posts.
At this time, we’re currently not accepting internship applications for Child Welfare.
EXTERN/INTERNSHIP (LAW STUDENTS ONLY)
Externs/Interns will be responsible for duties which may include the following: complete research and writing assignments in a timely manner, assist attorneys in every stage of case preparation, and meet with clients. Externs/Interns may shadow attorneys to observe hearings as schedules allow. Externs/Interns may be called upon to initiate, develop, or continue special projects for the Clinic.
Refugee Services interns work directly with Case Managers to assist with refugee arrivals and current clients. This can be a very rewarding experience that exposes the intern to various cultures and languages. Up to six positions are available each semester (fall, spring, and summer). All majors are welcome.
